Weekly Pet Pic: A Baby Pic

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

For those of you that have been following my website for a while now, you’ve no doubt seen my big fat cat, Tucker.  He has graced many of my pet picks pages.  Here are two of my favorites:

Tucker doing a yoga pose!

Hi Mom.

So I thought it would be fun to show you one of his baby pictures that I recently found.  This was taken one week after we adopted him from a local animal shelter and you can see, that he wasn’t always a fat cat!

Baby Tucker “helping” with the dishes taken five years ago. He was a good little kitten and now he continues to be a great cat 🙂

Remember to send in your pet pics.  We love sharing them and we believe that pets and their cute pictures relieve our everyday stresses.  And send in your pet’s baby pics, too.   Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and have a good week!

What a photogenic cat your Tucker is! Appears that he actually poses for you! My little poodle, Annie, who seems to take the word “lap top” literally, is sitting on my lap as I type this. She is now gazing at Tucker on the lit screen, seeming to perk up when I scroll to his pics! If she could see him in person, she would immediately jump for joy and turn in quick little circles even though he would be much bigger than she. Annie loves all animals, and if they seem aggressive or not too friendly, she is wise enough to move away, but if she is “invited” does not waste a second abandoning herself to playful interaction. She is a joy to watch either playing with the neighbor’s pet rabbit, dog or cat or home alone with her own collection of stuffed animals including “pink pig” and tiny “brown dog.” She carries them gently in her mouth to a hidden place where I can’t find them, or she will have fun tossing one into the air and “rescuing” it.

Pausing to enjoy our pets amid our often hectic existence is calming and healthful, as well as fun!
